Yes, technically I was on maternity leave….About four weeks after giving birth to my third child the Measles reached out to me about doing an extended family photo session.

The thought of leaving the house for an hour to get away from the craziness sounded nice PLUS the Meisels are so fun to work with so I knew it was going to be a good time! This session was taken in the heat of August at a large park with plenty of shade. The adults were definitely outnumbered buy all the kids and you know what? I didn’t hear one kid complain about the weather! We laughed, took photos, and laughed some more. And before we got too sweaty the session was over!

I can’t tell you how fun it was to work with these people! Everyone was really outgoing and was smiling ear to ear. These three brothers are big jokesters, so I was laughing with them all throughout this session!

It’s really special to see adult siblings interact with each other in their families with such full hearts.  All the cousins seem to have a genuine bond and really enjoy being around each other.  I’m sure their family get togethers are full of big meals, competitive card games, and for sure some backyard football. I just see the pride and joy on the grandparents faces when they are have their whole family together. Family is important to this group. And I like it.
